Ok so i'm a musician. I like to record a bit on my computer (both Audio and MIDI, more midi though as the only Audio i'd use it vocals or guitar). I use the program Cubase SX 3.
I currently own a Creative SoundBlaster Live! 24bit, which has perfect input latency (i get very low latency with MIDI input) but the sound has about 100ms latency when output, and i don't know why, nor can i change any latency settings in Cubase. I'm guessing i need a new sound card, if so, which appropriate ones out there would suit?

Cheers.

I'd reccomend one of the M-Audio delta cards.

An Audiophile 2496, Audiophile 192, Delta 44, Delta 66, Delta 1010LT or Delta 1010 would be fine.

Have a look at the specifications and pick the card that suits you best. It sounds as theough the 192 or 2496 would be fine as long as you have a mixer or pre-amps already (or can afford to buy some).
