Hello,

I'm using Christmas as an excuse to get myself a new sound system for my computer, I'm torn between the Corsair SP2500 and the Edifier S730's, but that's another story.

I'm currently using an SLI 680 setup and I'm looking to purchase a sound card, the Asus Xonar D2 looks very tempting. My only issue is, would it fit on my MB with the SLI? There isn't much room below my second card.

Thanks in advance! :)

I wouldn't of thought you would have the room especially since the 680 takes up 2 slots
on the back of the case. You will have to sit and look at the case and see how tight the fit
will actually be.

It should fit in the PCI slot between the graphics cards as long as they're dual slot but it may interfere with cooling.

I'd get a PCI-E sound card and put it in the x1 PCI-E slot above the graphics cards as that should be better for cooling.

Im using the P8 Z77 V PRO model here. I'ts possible to fit a soundcard above the top gpu, in my case an Asus xonar DX PCIe card.
