Sound card installation .

Maybe a silly question, I have a ProSound Digital 5.1 PCI Soundcard * see below*....., when i install the card via the PCI Slot....do i plug the HD Audio header that would normally be in the motherboard into the card ?

Not quite sure where on that card you'd plug it in but generally if you want fron panel connections tot he soundcard you would hook it up that way. I notice there are a few header connectors on the board itself but I'm unsure what these are for.

That card looks super cheap and nasty though. My advice would be to avoid and get something much better, like the Xonar DG perhaps which can be had for 20 notes and will be far superior in every respect.
