Sound Card Leads

Hi all,
should be getting 'Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum Fatal1ty 7.1 Champion'
tomorrow morning.
I've read that its got a nasty wide ribbon cable to attach the front panels connections!
Is there a narrower alternative? Or is it connected to the car/unremovable?

No its a Ribbon that connects same as an EIDE Cable ay both ends.

I have never used it apart from testing functions as new to make sure all work, then I swapped to an 80 core Rounded EIDE (ATA133) Cable after a 30 second Mod to allow it to work on X-FI.
