what... if any is the difference between sound cards you get on the MB and those that u buy and install??


is there THAT much difference between them and is it really worth the money forking out money for one ?

there can be a lot off difference - sound card are better but you also need to take into account the speakers being used ( nothing will sound great via a £4.99 set of speakers )

In my experience there is. Even if you upgrde to a £30 sound card you'l notice it. I'm using my onboard at the moment, and i can notice a small crackle through the speakers when up loud. £50 is a nice round budget and you'l be able to get something that perfroms well for that. another £50 for speakers should have you set.
