Hi all,
I have recently bought a new PC from Overclockers and I am having issues with robotic type sounds coming through my headphones a random, frequent, intervals. The PC has a Gigabyte Z370P Motherboard (i5-8400, 16 gig ram, windows 10 64 bit, GTX 1060), using on board sound (no separate sound card).
The PC came with Windows 10 installed. I have checked all drivers are up to date. I have disabled virus protection software (avast), which had no effect, but I read somewhere to try this.
The only programs I have installed on the pc is Steam and Avast. I have plugged in Creative Inspire T10 speakers which had sound issues. I have also plugged in my gaming headphones, again same sound issues.
Any ideas what could be causing this? It sounds like it is stuttering slightly, as if there is a conflict, but I could be wrong.
Thanks
Ryan
