Hi

I have recently purchased a pre built system (not from oc so wont list the website) i am getting sound glitches so have done some research and checked my latency, seems my wifii card is causing the problem, i have checked all the drivers and even uninstalled them and updated from the ASUS website, when i disable the driver the sound works fine.

I have another WiFii card from my last system which in fact is a better card which i am gong to try tonight when i get home but if this dont work does anyone have any ideas?

thanks in advance!

the card is asus pce-n15 11n, crackling is still happening, i will try my other card

saying that it isnt happening now where near as much, seems to be ok now, i will have to monitor it and try the other card if needed

I absolutely hate wifi. I spent so much money and time realising that it doesn't achieve anything like the performance it's supposed to. I would replace it with power line units or even better a simple wire.

+1 for power line adapters. I’ve always used one and never had any issues
