Sound Creation System Setup

Hello guys I need a bit of help with making a system from scratch. Basically I will be creating music on the system using high end software. I will be needing some setup ideas as I am unsure of what components to put in the system. I know I need a high end processor as the software I use is very heavy on the resources.

I am currently looking to spend around £2000 on a new setup. I currently only have a laptop that has no parts I can use for the desktop system. I would like to run Windows 7 as I know Cubase will run on this platform. I will be going for an Intel based system and I'm not sure about GPU as it's not a big deal for me as I don't play games on PC.

Yeah so as you can see I will need the full works.
