Fresh install of Vista 64 (after I destroyed my original when trying to install themes
), and I'm unable to install the motherboard sound drivers. Realtek HD Audio. I'm not even sure if the other drivers on the motherboard installed correctly :/
It's a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L Rev 2.0
I tried installing the drivers from the disk, which worked perfectly well yesterday when I had my original fresh install of vista. However, today on my 2nd new install it got stuck installed one of the drivers. Restarted and it finished off the one that got stuck and said they were all installed. My main problem is that there is no Realtek HD Sound control panel showing and I've no idea why. Unistalled the drivers from Device manager ( Windows recognises it's there, it just won't show the control panel) and installed them from the Gigabyte website but still no luck.
This is making a bad day worse, any advice much appreciated
