Problem:
When plugging any headphone into any audio port on my pc, i hear constant crackling noises and get no other sound output whatsoever.
The problem appeared first when i moved my pc to my brothers room, removed my GTX 970 and installed his new R9 270 along with the AMD Catalyst drivers.
Trying to fix it by:
After installing the Realtek drivers the crackling noises turned into beeping rustling ones that increase with the pc's volume settings.
At least the R9 270 worked fine... Is my mobo broken? Do i lack any drivers or have to enable anything? Do i need to buy a PS4 now? I'm clearly losing my mind already, please help me!

The problem appeared first when i moved my pc to my brothers room, removed my GTX 970 and installed his new R9 270 along with the AMD Catalyst drivers.
Trying to fix it by:
- Putting my GTX 970 back in
- Plug another headphone into any audio port
- Plug both headphones into my smartphone, both work there
- Uninstall AMD Catalyst drivers normally, then with Display Driver Uninstaller
- Reinstall the current version of my Realtek audio driver
- Reinstall Nvidia Geforce drivers
- Reset BIOS through shorting the CMOS pins on my motherboard for 5 seconds
- Reinstall Windows 10
- Install Nvidia drivers again
- Install Realtek audio drivers again
After installing the Realtek drivers the crackling noises turned into beeping rustling ones that increase with the pc's volume settings.
