Sound in game gone quiet?

Hi all

Today I upgraded my wife's systems CPU only and now shes complaining when playing PUBG the sound is very quiet yet everything is turned up to 100,

In game 100
Headset on desktop setting 100
Headset volume button up to 100

Any predictions as to what else I can try please to keep her off my back

send her for a hearing test
is it only that game?
youtube etc ok?
check loudness equalisation is on in audio mixer/enhancements

I should as that plane on PUBG is louder than most things No its everything she said, I checked on the mixer etc all turned right up, Made sure the Jacks were in correctly,could it be driver related maybe??

anything installed like asus sonic studio
or realtek audio manager?
those have a smart volume/loudness setting in them
it makes a very big difference to my volume levels

you said headset volume 100
so that rules out my other suggestion
mine has touch sensitive volume and wouldnt be first time
i have accidentally turned the volume down yet spent a while
trying to fix it in windows

wouldnt totally rule out the driver i guess
uninstall and reinstall it would be an option if nothing else works

How can I adjust stuff in Realtek? I do see that on her sound settings, Her headset has a dial turn adjust the volume, it's a Razer Headset... I tried it just now it's not really quiet but you can't really tell where enemy movement is unless it's completely silent
