I have a Gigabyte Phoenix B150N motherboard and my Realtek audio briefly cuts of. I am running the latest drivers. However, when I rolled back to the driver supplied with the motherboard disk, I got Realtek Sound Manager saying speaks have been plugged into "Line in" constantly, even though there is nothing wrong with the cable or the line-in jack. I reinstalled Windows and disabled Nvidia graphics card drivers as well and still did not solve the problem.

Any thoughts?

Here are my PC specs

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B150N Phoenix-WIFI
CPU: Intel 6700
GPU: Zotac Nividia 1060 6GB
RAM HyperX Fury 16GB
SSD: Samsung 240GB Evo
HDD:Toshiba 2TB

Some of the hardware monitor programs can interfere with motherboards in this way, check that first.

Secondly under sound settings in windows try disabling everything that isn't speakers - Realtek ,
also try disabling front panel jack detection in Realtek HD audio manager .
