Sound jumps when playing

The sound on my PC jumps, skips, quite frequently; I have it connected to a sub with two speakers and I know it isn't that because I play my Ipod on them all the time and its absolutely fine.

I installed the audio drivers that came with my MSI mobo: Realtek HD Audio. There are also Legacy Audio Drivers installed on my Device Manager.

Any help would be most appreciated!

Your first mistake was using the drivers that come with it
There almost always months, sometimes even years out of date.
