I got a gigabyte ga-p35c-ds3r with realtek HD.
I cant get it to install when i try install i get "install realtek hd audio failure"
i have installed the mircosoft UAA driver thing.
I see it in device manager with a ! on yellow background.
and when i check in sound & audio devices it says none installed.
Maybe someone has a fix?
anyway this is what gigabyte support told me.
---------
No sound: -
1) If the sound driver is fine under the "device manager", please make sure the speakers are plugged into the right port and the speaker is equipped with an internal amplifier.
If the OS is not a clean installation, it might be cause by the driver conflict. Please re-install the OS again to see if it's OK.
2) If there is a "!" mark beside the sound device, please install the sound driver from disk or website.
3) If there is no sound device under the "device manager". Please make sure that you enable the "onboard sound" under the "integrated peripheral" in the BIOS. If it's enabled, the sound chip onboard might be defective.
