Sound not working through headphones

Hi I recently purchased the Primo Gamer pc system off overclockers and it comes with On-Board 5.1 Audio. The monitor I have doesn't have integrated speakers and I have yet to purchase a separate set so I thought I would use my headphones, but I am getting no sound whatsoever from the pc. I have tried plugging the headphones into every plug and port and nothing is working. Any help will be appreciated

Hi mate the head phones need to be in the green port on the back of the pc. + Make sure the volume is turned up in the windows control panel if that dosnt work re install the drivers off the motherboard cd.

Thanks for your reply, how do I reinstall the drivers off the motherboard?

Insert the asus cd in to your dvd drive and follow the on screen instructions.

Thanks, i found the driver cd and used that, Yay now I have sound!
