Sound Of Terror!

Just came across a nice little article on the times,

'The sound of terror'

The car they featured was the Aston Martin's DBR9 HERE this inspired me to create a 'your' sound of terror car

Mine has to be the above DBR9 and the new Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera

I like mine, only on the basis that from inside, it sounds like a truck (gear whine, intake roar and a hearty throb through the unsilenced bulkhead) and from the outside it sounds like it's ripping along.

Something other than my own - well, when I was marshalling at Donnington the Saleens absolutely devestated my eardrums - even with plugs, you could feel them tearing your eardrums apart whilst the DB9 racers were very 'refined' comparatively - a very different noise to most of the other machines.

Must have come back from those GT races with about 10db's off my hearing

i had the pleasure of a DB9 flooring it pasy me on the motorway, such a fantastic sound, i want one!!
