Just a quick question about how good is the sound on the Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD5 Intel X58 is it good enough to maybe get the logitech 5.1 surround system or is it good to get a creative sound card ?. Reasson i asked ages ago i braught a motherboard and a creative sound card and it was totally amazing and came with lots of softwere and features. So basicly is it worth buying the sound card or is it a waste of money ?

was looking at this 1
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium

as this would go really nice with my case being black and all and with still about 3 spaces left to put a front bay device it will fit in nicely.

Also i would probably get a good surroudn sound system as i remember buying a set of speakers from from a company cvalled trust ages ago and it sounded like someone beating a pan under water. but my old creative 4.1 surround was totally epic.

I have the same motherboard but bought an X-Fi Titanium and after some good old 'Creative pops and clicks' which were sorted out by the latest drivers and maxing the audio settings - I'm really pleased with the setup.

Not the biggest fan of the EX58 though, not a well thought out motherboard, especially in a small case (and I've got a 902 and it's still a pain!)
