Hi Guys,

After swapping my 7950 for a 780ti my Realtek onboard soun now only has the center chanel and the sub chanel. It only shows these two jack "in" points, not the five (left, right, centre, Sub and mic in) it used to. Any ideas?

I'm thinking that when Display Driver Unistaller wiped the AMD drivers it also took the Sound drivers too.

when you installed the new card it may have made it's own onboard sound default - in playback devices make sure that your motherboard sound is flagged as default.

It's set to default :-(

It's only showing the LR an C-Sub jack "in's" in properties. When I manually click the speakers it plays the test tones for them, just not the rear and sides.

Thanks for the help so far mate, tearing my hair out!

It does sound like Display Driver Uninstaller has cocked something up - I only ever use Windows Control panel to uninstall, it's safer that way :D

All I can suggest is downloading the latest drivers for your codec and reinstalling them.
