When using 6ch direct effect when the input is set to direct on my z5500, at 80% on my X-fi, the rear speakers extreamly distort, also slightly in the fronts too, this aint so bad when using PL2 Music, but i want to use direct, anyway, when using optical and PL2 Music, its all ok, same with any other effect, but now i am having a wierd problems, the sound from the speakers dont sound right, i was playing this song, Take That - Back For Good, and when i turned the speakers up, the sound seems messy, and the treble seems awfull, i mean its is hurting my ears, its turned to normal on the X-Fi (50%) which it was at before, and my z5500 speakers have never done this...
, whats wrong with them? i cant get another replacement from logitech if there faulty, i have to have a refund, if i did that i would probs buy some bookshelve speakers and an amp, if possible, but i would miss the huge amounts of bass
**Edit~~ Ok, sorted problem, X-Fi were faulty, so gonna refund, i will by a cheap soundcard for like £25, using the other £115 refund for the X-fi and 100quid for EMA, i will use Ebay, and buy myself my first propoer speakers
