Hey there.
So I reformatted my computer on Windows XP for various reasons, and once the installation had been done I noticed that Windows had not recognised my Sound Blaster Audigy.
I tried a variety of ways to install it. I've tried the CD and the Internet drivers, but they both say that I do not have the SBA Hardware.
After giving up, I decided to install my onboard sound.
I downloaded the drivers from my mobo manufacter's website and installed them, but after the prompted restart, there is still no playback device under Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devices.
Went into the BIOS, but the onboard sound in enabled.
Anybody have any idea how to get either one working?
Thanks.
