Sound probs / Broken Sword 4

This is probs a long shot but im having trouble with this game.

It seems that 99% of the time i cant hear the speach, so i have to read the subtitles, which is very annoying.

I have also experienced sound probslems with other games, such as test drive.

Im using the on board sound on my Gigabyte DS3

Any Ideas?

Read the readme and check the BS4 forums. It's a documented issue.

I went on their official site and could'nt see any forums. I clicked community and it just gives me mostly sites with nothing to do with the game what so ever

Reduce sound acceleration in windows sound. I had the same problems with onboard Realtek 882. Reducing acceleration fixed it. So did replacing with a SB X-Fi.

thanks mate i checked out the readme and changed the sound settings in dxdiag and it works great now!

Now and again the Readme's will have something useful in there.

The original Quake had a short story in it.
