I can't get windows sound recorder on win 7 to use the correct mic.
I have a bluetooth mic. It's connected and it's working fine. It shows up under recording devices fine and the volume bar moves when you talk, so far as I can tell it's working.
Sound recorder refuses to use it and only wants to use the mic built into the laptop. The bluetooth mic is set to default recording device, I've even gone as far as to disable the laptops mic, but sound recorder refuses to use the bluetooth one.
Have it and it alone enabled. Set to default, the volume bar moves in recording devices, but sound recorder has no response and records nothing.
Everywhere online says sound recorder uses whatever the default device is, but it just refuses to use the mic.
