Sound stutter/cut out in all my games

Found one fault already " Which i've not touched " my power settings were set to balanced!, i've always had it on high performance.

Have you tried disabling the gfx card sound yet? (or removed it and rebooted).

Daft question but you've made sure to completely disable the on-board sound (if any) from the BIOS?

Yeh it's been disabled for a very very long time, **** realtek

as for the GFX card sound that was never installed

Anyway good news, no sound stuttering in Stronghold Kingdoms now.... Need to test more games

This happened to me, my PSU blew up after a while. Must have been the power rippling causing the problem.

Although, to be fair, I also had programs freezing up when it happened.

Got music going, stronghold kingdoms, firefox open, latency tester open and steam..

SO FAR it's looking very much like it was the latest WHQL intel drivers, however i have wiped,cleaned the SSD drive and upgraded it's firmware ready to go back as an SSD cache.

I'm on 11.2.0.1006 now
