Sound surround wont work on X-530's

Hi all just got a set of x-530's but when i play music sound only comes from the sub and two front speakers. Why not all of them?

Im thinking you can only get all of them going in 5.1 enabled games/movies? But is there anyway to get them going through windows media player? Any help GREATLY appreciated

These speakers don't upmix stereo to 5.1, but you may be able to get your soundcard to do it, depending on which card you have. If you have a fairly recent Creative card (audigy onwards, maybe even a Live), go into the CMSS 3D settings and select either 'stereo surround' or CMSS2, and put the front/rear slider to 0%. There's probably a way to do the same thing on other cards too.
