Sound - swap channels

Hi all,

I need to find a way to swap the left and right channels on my speakers. ie Due to the layout of my room, the left speaker has to be on the right and the right speaker on the left. Other that getting an extension cable for the 3.5mm jack, is there a way to make the computer aware of the speaker layout?

Other than getting some specific software to run on your PC 24/7 I don't think you can as Vista doesn't have the option for it, or at least I cannot find it even with googling. I would just buy an extension cable for your speakers.

managed to get it working temporarily using a kvm ta
