Hi all

Recently had a new system setup. And cannot help but think that the sound is a litter louder on the right than the left.

This no doubt has something to do with the positioning of my speakers. The whole setup isn't centred. And the speaker on the right is a lot closer to a wall.

I plan to make some adjustments this weekend. Can anyone confirm that the positioning of the speakers could be the issue here?

Whilst your new gear is nice, that room is awful (for the speakers). You need a lot more soft furnishing in there. Room correction via the AVR will help, but it can't work miracles.

Start with having both speakers the same distance from the wall then redo the room calibration.

Speaker position can make a massive difference. If you've got one closer to the wall or angled differently you'll struggle with soundstage and sound localisation. It might not be barn door obvious but could muddy the picture.
