The reviews for this HW are excellent! If anybody has a nice set of headphones but are still running off their Motherboard then this will make a massive and noticeable difference.

Bought this a few years and still going strong!
One of my best purchases by far, excellent sound when paired with a good set of headphones and at this price an absolute bargain :D
 
I don't know, soundcards are now in the 'no mans land' of PC components.

They don't appeal to the average user and not good enough for those that demand true high end PC audio, who tend to spend big with DAC setups.

I run the Soundblaster Z card in my rig, and honestly, the only difference I can tell between it and the onboard audio is that the headphone volume levels are superior, certainly no tangible difference to my ears in terms of clarity.
