Right, I've upgraded my PC very nicely. Only trouble I'm having is with my old Soundblaster Live! I/O panel (Live Drive IR) setup.
It's an old card but has always worked well and has the gameport etc.
Now I've rebuilt, I can't get the Live Drive panel to work or be recognised and after many hours of trying I'm willing to give up and get some new kit.
I'm very interested in the M-Audio Firewire 410 in the Oc clearance section, so if anyone has this please tell me if it's any good.
I need an interface for my guitar (1/4" jack) and Midi for a drum machine and the M-Audio seems to have all that, but I will need a Firewire card as my mobo doesn't have a port built in.
If I lose the Soundblaster card then I also need a new gameport for a joystick, so can I buy these seperately?
Another option would be just to get a new X-Fi set up or Audigy with a front panel.
