Hello, i have put up with my LG sound bar and subwoofer for far too long now and want to get something better.

What is there out there that is nice and stylish that will give out some nice bass and very clear sound. This will be for my TV/Xbox and music and going in my living room which is a big room but there isn't much room around where the TV cabinet is for something too big without looking silly.

Looking for something like this (looks wise):

Not too fussed about 5.1 surround sound as i cannot be doing with wires, wires really bug me if they cannot be hidden easily. Also looked at those standing sound systems but they are just too big and would mean moving my TV stand from the centre of the wall (again would bug me).

Anyone got anything similar to the above picture that fills the room with sound? That system there is only 120w which doesn't too much given the at the same price there is 2400w systems (look horrendous though). Budgeting at around £500.

You don't need 120w, a 30w separate is plenty loud enough for the home.

Guess i do not understand how watts/sounds work then . The sound bar i have now is 100w with a subwoofer. I only kept it as it does sound better than the tv's speakers and ok on normal tv viewing.

Its when i put a film/music or a game on that i notice how rubbish it actually is.

Like the above idea. Richer sounds have a deal on a Denon unit with the 3020s for £350 (not the same unit as you listed though). Was reading the reviews last night on the speakers, 5/5 everywhere.

Think you have made my decision

Will pop into Richer Sounds next time i am in sheff.

Yeah? Im not shy when it comes to bartering. Did the same on a TV i bought from them without price matching.

Gunna go in the morning and have a look.

The one you have also has bluetooth doesnt it? Guess that would be quite handy.
