Soundbar hdmi sockets not working after being above a log burner

Hi, my soundbar has been above a log burner and now the hdmi sockets are not working. If a samsung engineer looks at the soundbar will they be able to tell the heat damage was caused by something other than the device overheating. Cheers

There is no signs of melting on the outside of the soundbar. My worry is they will be able to tell and it won't be covered by the warranty

It did feel very warm to touch when the log burner was on .

The crazy thing is it starting working again. I unplugged it left it for a few days and it stopped working again. I'm going to get Samsung to have a look and hope for the best
