SoundBlaster AE-9 broke

I purchased an AE-9 2 weeks ago, today i replaced my 6 year old PSU and when i was plugging the breakout box on my desk into the back of the pcie sound card, the connected snapped clean off. Pic included.

I have contacted Creative to ask if this is an issue with the card in general or if im just unlucky, i didn't use much force at all so im unsure what they are like in general.
To me it looks a little flimsy, it sits inside a gold plated connector but doesn't look much holding it in place.

Been in contact with Creative over this and the device is on its way back to them for a full refund.

to be fair it could have been just i had a bad one, but it put me off having another too.
They said if i sent proof of postage they would get the refund processed straight away, however this hasnt happened and they have stopped responding.

I know there is a global epidemic right now which wont help.

I have now received the monies for this in my bank again, all sorted.
