Thinking of getting a soundblaster z, main reason being my friends say they can hear my game sounds when I talk with PTT (currently using realtek onboard). Checked out the official page to see if my case would be ok with it for the front panel & one line stands out as confusing:
"This header follows the standard 2x5pin Intel HD Audio conform layout. It is not compatible with AC97 or Intel-compatible HD Front Panel Audio, as their pins are assigned differently."

Manual for my case:

Now If I'm reading it right I should be ok for the front panel to work fine?
Not sure what the difference is between Intel HD Audio conform layout & Intel-compatible HD Front Panel Audio.
