Please bear with me on this one as i havent been really 'down' with PC Audio knowledge since the SB Live! and Audigy Platinum Ex era many many moons ago!
Ive basically been fiddling with the Traktor DJ Studio app which i really love, but my sound card doesnt seem to cut it. Its an onboard Realtek ALC883 on an Asus P5W-DH Deluxe motherboard. What the application needs is multiple output channels (but on the same output driver) but in Vista it only recognises 2 outputs. Some people say that "asio4all" can rectify this but it generally kills your PC and gives huuge latency times. Does anyone know if a 'proper' sound card can get round this?
The Asus Xonar is looking good driver and feature wise (and its Asus, who ive never had a bad product from in 7 years!). Does anyone know if it can handle Traktor correctly within Vista?!

- Dolby Digital Live (Or equivelant DTS) output via Optical/Coax to my Cambridge Audio Azur 640R AV Reciever
- Decent, feature rich Vista Driver support.
- Multi-channel Vista gaming support would be beneficial (im sure mine doesnt support this, although i could be mistaken!)
