Have had the Edifier 1600T's for a couple of weeks now - really impressed! I'm using them to listen to music - mostly classical - and really enjoying it!
Some advice though please. Am playing CD's off my laptop with its onboard sound. Is it worth getting something like the Creative X-fi HD USB soundcard? Will there be a noticeable difference in quality playing music CD's?
I'm bearing in mind that I'm using this laptop temporarily for the year, before I get back to my PC (which currently doesn't have a soundcard in it). So if I were to by the USB version that would have to do me in place of an internal card once back to the PC.
Any thoughts appreciated! Thanks!
