i have the pci card dt 2.4g and i've found it invaluable.

have quite a few house parties and its quite cool to be able to shut the music off and stuff if people start messing around.

can also hide my pc away cos the remote is wireless

turn on any where within the house primarily from my bed lol.

can be found cheaper than on oc's and is a bit of a luxury if you have a few quid lying around.
 
Standard imon looks like a gimmicky thing.
However from that youtube video the ultra looks much better, you can use it for music playback with the main screen switched off. However for my use the HTPC is behind the LCD so you won't see it.

How large is the font, can you increase size?
 
Doesnt seem to be that powerful outside of the actual iMon app - looked like it only rudimentary supported MCE...
