Soundproof mat

I'm currently living above someone so want to be considerate and put a soundproof mat below my subwoofer

I found the Draper 30743 Vibration Absorber Mat for £10 which gets pretty good reviews. I don't suppose anyone has one, do they perform well? Is it going to work for subwoofer noise? It's designed for machine noise (grinders etc.) so not sure.

I'm open to suggestions as well. Are there any better products?

I have some Beyerdynamics but don't always want to use them if I just want the radio on, or background music, or games.

I would have thought you'd have to cover the whole floor, not just below the speaker as that will just reduce impact noise not airborne noise.
