Soundproofing further?

Case fans are as stock. Just 2 front fans and a rear fan. The side and top vents have the covers on. Case fans are pretty quiet. The noise on investigation is definitely the phanteks CPU fans on 1100-1200 all the time. Ordered the 3-4 pin wire which will hopefully let me adjust the CPU fans to auto and only go full speed when getting warm

no need to order 3-4 pin wire. 3pin plug fits on 4pin socket. The 4th pin (PWM) is unused.

The supplied Y splitter with allow you to attach 2x Phanteks fans to CPU_fan socket on motherboard and can be controlled with Fan Xpert 2 software from Asus

let us know when you have received the PWM adaptor. Our fans should be more quiet. When the sound is still uncomfortable even with the PWM adaptor, let us know so we can assist you further.
