Just got to chapter 6 and really enjoying this. A little different and the story is pretty good. Some of the movement feels a little janky at times but still fun.

Asmongold was playing it last night.
Reminded me a lot of early platformers on the PlayStation and xbox when they first stated switching from 2d platformers to 3d..

Some of the art style was good, the graphics overall I would say are pretty poor tbh, also thees no atmosphere because of the graphics style.

Also looked pretty boring and the stop motion just reminds me of frame gen gone wrong.

Sweetbaby inc game btw they are in the credits

I am plodding my way through, it is a nice little story and it does look very nice.
I started recently and the story's got its hooks in me. I was concerned about the weird stop motion stuff in all the early footage but playing through it, it's not distracting to me and makes sense in a stylistic way.

Lirik had a dabble on 'Sub' Sunday, was surprised by how well it looked for being a UE game. Very distinct art style and has a setting for the stop motion feel if you find it jarring though did look like it doesn't disable it in cutscenes.

Put it on my list to pick up at some point.

Started playing this - really good so far. Couldn't stop laughing at unexpected wtf moments. Best to go into the game not knowing anyhting about it, because it's certainly not what I expected. Graphics are amazing and getting 235fps at 4k. Definitely a fun play

I don't want to spoil it for anyone but I am near the end and the story and the settings just get better and better and it looks stunning, it is well worth a play through, 2 chapters from the end so will see what happens.

Yes, the art direction and atmosphere are great in this game. I wasn't overly enamoured with the combat or the inability to backtrack within levels, but I do like games that pull me into interesting framings of folkloric settings that are new to me. I stopped partway through to look up the background to some of the creatures and concepts.

I am enjoying this, it reminds me of the American McGee's Alice demo I played in circa the year 2000. It has a similarly fantastical world full of imagination.
