I'm taking the family to Southampton tomorrow as a treat to celebrate my new job, we are having to primary for my daughter but need someone to eat for us, any good places to eat for adults and kids any recommendations?

Depends what you are after, but the food at Windover Manor in Burseldon is usually good, part of the Harvester chain. Literally just off J8 of the M27, so very easy to jump back on the motorway to/from J3, if you heading to/from city centre (unless you feel brave driving the A3024 through Thornhill ;) ).

There are lots of new places around the "cultural quarter", close to places like Turtle Bay. Not been there but they look reasonable and are walkable.

If you want to drive somewhere there is Walnut Tree Farm which only opened monday which is very kid friendly and has a play area. It's just off the M271.

If your at Primark, just make life easy and go to the top of the escalators inside West Quay. It has a food court with fast food joints, sandwiches, pizzahut, potatoes etc.
There all quick foods but with enough variety for everyone.

Tortilla in West Quay is great for fast food type stuff
7bone (not in town center) is a tasty burger (if a bit studenty)

cant wait for Wahacca to open!
having a bills will be handy too

Shows the last time I went into town :D

Not that this matters (and dragging a pointless thread up) but it's not vodka revs. I realised the place wasn't called Revolutions. It was Bliss at one time, and something else which I can't remember.
It's in the centre behind the high street shops in the parks. Next to Primark.
