As title heard and noise and just looked, the southbridge epox heatsink thing has fell off in my case :| So Im on my sisters PC

How can I put it back on ? I dont have epoxy which I normally use, will any superglue work? Or is that not a good idea?

Also are there any glues that the heat might melt? Dont really want it fallin off again :(

Got some superglue in the cupboard? Willl that do ?

Got any recommendations then? It looks like it was originally springclipped on, but there no longer there, it was second hand so I imagine the previous owner glued it on, but not very effectivly

I dont mind it being permanant hence the superglue, thermal epoxy is best, just cant be bothered ordering it and waiting wanted to build my pc today cos I have the day off, and im bored :( lol

Bloody hell Im never doing that again, got a tube of superglue after AS4'd up the heatsink and it wudnt open cos it was stuck, twisted it and twisted it and boom the packet split and superglue squirted in my eye, been washing it for the last 10 mins and it hurts like hell

I can still see tho :D !! Just hurts a little and my eyelashes are stuck together lol, time to cut them off :(

I'm wearing my fat chemistry goggles from now on :p Might need some safety gloves too I can see my finger getting chopped off sooner or later :D
