I was in the supermarket today and had a quick look of there protein powders.
And the only No added flavour one was Soy Protein Isolate.

It had 88grams of Protein to every 100grams.

And it was pretty cheap:)

The problem is, I heard a while back that soy isnt too good for males. I think it was something about raising oestrogen levels or something.

Can someone confirm this? :)

I dont want norks:p

But if its safe then i might get it since its cheap and Protien powders cost a kidney down here.

It isnt too great for females either (you dont really want to mess with your hormone balance too much).

But aye, it will increase oestrogen levels. So take it on a regular basis and you might start growing a nice pair of pert ones ;)

Ive read varying reports, mostly i avoid soy like the plague due to the 'estrous effect' and since im constantly fighting against estrogen anyway id rather not exasperate things. Having said which ive seen a good few studies that suggest the small estrogen hikes from soy intake are marginal especially where the individual is testosterone dominant. So if your a blokes bloke with a hairy chest then worry not my friend.

Im not sure what i am really:o

I seemed to hit puberty and grew everything a teen should when i was age 8 or 9 and then at the age of about 13 or 14 i had stopped growing and i was only slowly getting broader and my beard hair is still just filling out properly, even these days im not as fussed about sex as much at all:o

Bloody confusing where my hormones stand:p

I think ill steer clear, No need for boobies:p
