Soyntec 350 headset connectors

Hi there.

I just bought a headset so i can use teamspeak as a hand held mic was awkward when gaming and trying to talk.

I have a audigy 2 zs with logitech x-530 speakers attached. That leaves micorphone/line in/digital connectors left.

I have 1 red and 1 black connectors and i duno which is which. So can someone help me know where the earphones socket should go as i know the mic should go to mic but what about the earphones as all the line outs are filled by 5.1 speakers. And as i said that leaves micorphone/line in/digital connectors left to use.

Would a 3.5mm male to female extension work and i plug the headphones connector on my left speakers headphone socket?

Or would a 3.5mm splitter work in the soundcard lineout for left/right so it can use both headphones and speakers at same time?
