Just realised my 330i doesn't have folding rear seats was this an option? seems it was part of the american cold weather package but not sure on the UK option list.

Jeez kind of tight of BMW to not have this as standard if so

Is there a way to get folding rear seats without cutting out bulkheads and welding etc?

Yes it was a very rare option on the saloon, virtually nobody chose it. The coupe has it as standard for some reason.

No, you can't retrofit it. Take comfort in the fact that your chassis is a lot stiffer because you don't have them

It's a massive difference coming from a Bora with folding seats to a 3 series without folding seats. I've lost half the loading space now

Least my chassis is stiffer

I read up on this when considering th E90, apparently it is a *major* job to swap out for split seats. None of the people I've seen asking about it have had it done as a result.
