SP2 Problem

my mate just downloaded and installed SP2 and it comes up with this message "setup Could not verify the integrity of the file update.inf. Make sure the Cryptographic services is running on this computer" . any ideas what the problem is?

is it in the services log under administration tools?

yep its set to automatic and its started... anyone know the problem?
