SP2 Trouble

Hi there,

I have just installed service pack 2 for my Windows Home Edition. When it restarted it said the firewall was off, so i tried turning it on and i get this error.

So i thought ah ok, ill install my own firewall. I try load internet explorer and get this !

Thankgod for firefox letting me post this !

Is there anything simply and easy i can do to get the firewall working? I can live without internet explorer. :mad:

Have you disabled the ICS/Firewall service?

Just had a look in services and cant see that at all :confused:

I havent touched services at all.

Can you get to the settings thru the Security Center?

No

Gives an error saying the security center can't turn on windows firewall and to try manually.
