Anyone going for this weekend? First time to watch a 24hr race so pretty stoked.

Unfortunately not, however it is one of the ones on the list. Love Spa as a track and within easy reach of UK by car...Was there for the WEC earlier in the year and was great to have a bit more time to make way around the track and see race from lots of different prospectives.

I kinda wish that I were there, but with the weather, perhaps not.. though shouldn't it be the 18.5 hours of spa? that was a long red flag period

The F1 drivers could learn a lot watching this.... was only red flagged when it was horrendous (as only Spa seems to be able to get!) - German GP starting behind the safety car in drizzle....

To be fair the F1 drivers were all saying to start the race. It's the race director who calls the shots on how to start the race, and when.

Plus it’s the fact that the F1 car in itself isn’t designed to handle such weather. (As could be seen.) it’s hardly F1 drivers fault that their cars aren’t made to handle heavy rain...

I thought they ran several laps behind the safety car before starting the race?

Bit late to this but I was also at Spa 24 with a mate from work. Of the 19 hours of running we watched around 17 hours; headed to bed around 3.30am. Watched around the same amount of racing as we did at the Nurburgring 24 hours in June; first time to both events and damn, in both cases, what an event.
