Hi, Planning to go to the Spa F1 this year and was wondering if anyone had any advice, particularly regarding camping...

planning to do a self drive and camp at the moment looks like bronze ticket for the weekend @ £160 and camping pitch at the official campsite @ 160 per pitch.....will probably be 4 of us

cheers for any advice,

IF u want to camp, use camping f1 I used them last year and it was pretty good.

Its a UK company that provides a bar and food for the whole weekend and transport to and from the circuit. They also have bands on Friday and Saturday night. Im tempted to use them for Silverstone.

That being said. I wouldn't use their transport again, I would pay for a parking ticket and go and leave when I liked, as the bus doenst really leave early enough to get a decent spot and when leaving there is a lot of waiting about for stragglers.

Lucky Skeeter was staying in liege and drove 45 mins each day with his family and saved myself and my gf a spot on phonon.

Tips:
Take your own food and booze. Prices at the circuit are

Make sure you use Friday practice for walking around and seeing the circuit. its the best one for general admission.

Take folding chairs. And wear warm clothes as it gets very cold at night and takes a while to warm up
