SPA400 issues

Does anyone on here have any experience / knowledge of the Linksys SPA400 box of tricks?

Am trying to set a static IP as suggested and no matter which browser I try to set it through, it keep s defaulting back to DHCP, which is stopping me gettign any further in the setup wizard.

Have tried re-flashing latest firmware (1.1.2.2) and also with just the SPA400 on the network, but it still happens the same

Try via the IVR. Check from page 19 of this PDF (different models, but I think the same commands apply). You can also do a factory reset.

Another suggestion: try compatibility mode in IE.

Managed to get it sorted. In the end brought it home and plugged it into home network and it worked fine.

Only difference was it has a router in the system. Not sure why that would make it not work....

Well, got the IP issue sorted....now just need to work on it actually placing any calls on to the PSTN. The 400 is not recognising it has a line attached to it.

May try swapping the wires over in teh extension box as could be a polarity issue
