Space game needed

I'm thinking of X3 Terran Conflict or Sins of a Solar Empire.

Which one would you recommend?

Different types of game, Sins of a Solar Empire is basically a rts where you build up your fleet of ships, whilst X3 is a first person 'you fly the space craft' game, where you can trade, mine, fight etc, and it has a story to play through.

Depends on which type of thing you prefer.

I've no idea which one I'd prefer, the only space game I played was Eve online.

I just want a good space game really.

I have a 2.5ghz c2d, 4gb ram and a 4850 so it should run ok.
