Spacebase startopia

I loved the original startopia when I was younger and it never got the praise it deserved. I still play it now!

I see that you can access the closed beta if you order the game for £39.99 from the kalypso site, I'm hovering over the buy button...

Anyone tried it?

Damn, i too was a big fan of the original, had no idea this was being made, is it from the same developer ? or from a different crowd, hope it turns out well for them.

Had a look at the shelf and i still have the pc cd rom version case in good condition, eidos interactive and mucky foot productions.

It was a great game, funky music and nice gameplay, was quite challenging from what i remember

It's a bit of a weird one, Realmforge studios are making it and as far as I'm aware there isn't any ex Muckyfoot devs working on it. It is however a carbon copy pretty much which to be honest I'm glad of.
